Support and technical assistance in industrial electrical engineering
Brightcore Technical Documentation supports its clients through consulting services, technical assistance and documentation in industrial electrical engineering, providing support to the design, evolution and understanding of electrical systems for machines, industrial installations and automated systems.
Interventions are carried out as technical support, in line with applicable standards, functional project requirements and the client’s internal standards.
Electrical schematics design and technical support
We support our clients in the complete or partial creation of electrical schematics and technical documentation, within a technical support framework, in particular for:
- power and control schematics,
- layout drawings of electrical cabinets and enclosures,
- wiring diagrams for machines and industrial installations,
- equipment layout plans and terminal block diagrams.
Documents are developed taking into account the technical constraints of the project, manufacturer choices and the client’s internal standards.
Updating and optimisation of existing schematics
We work on existing electrical schematics in order to:
- correct and improve documentary consistency and reliability,
- update schematics in line with evolving standards and technical references,
- adapt documentation following modifications to machines or installations,
- integrate new components or references,
- improve the organisation and readability of schematics.
This approach aims to enhance documentary consistency and the maintainability of electrical documentation.
Digitisation and conversion of paper drawings
When electrical schematics are only available in paper format, we provide digitisation and conversion into an electrical CAD environment, including:
- scanning and vectorisation of existing documents,
- recreation of schematics within a suitable electrical CAD software,
- structuring of folders and drawing sets,
- graphical harmonisation according to the client’s internal standards,
- identification and recovery of existing components and references.
These actions facilitate updating, day-to-day use and archiving of electrical documentation.
Technical documentation and bills of materials
In addition to electrical schematics, we produce structured technical documentation, including in particular:
- wiring documentation provided as technical support,
- bills of materials (BOM),
- terminal block and cable lists,
- drawing sets provided as support for manufacturing and installation,
- load tables and electrical balance sheets provided as technical support.
These documents support design activities, technical analysis and coordination, and facilitate communication between design teams, installers and industrial partners involved in the project.
Electrical CAD environments
We work with the main electrical CAD environments on the market (EPLAN, SEE Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent solutions), according to the client’s standards and project requirements.
When a project requires a change of software tool or the harmonisation of the CAD environment, we ensure the recovery and reconstruction of electrical documentation within the target software, based on existing documents (drawings, schematics, bills of materials, technical files).
Electrical CAD software relies on specific databases and internal logics. Projects are therefore not subject to automatic conversion or direct import from one tool to another.
The service consists of a controlled reconstruction of electrical documentation within the target software database, in order to preserve functional consistency of schematics, continuity of references, terminal blocks and wiring, as well as the readability and usability of technical documents.
Software environments are defined during the project scoping phase, in full transparency, particularly with regard to access to tools and the required licenses.
